{"id":84,"date":"2019-11-04T18:06:16","date_gmt":"2019-11-04T18:06:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.umaze.org\/?p=84"},"modified":"2020-12-11T11:26:29","modified_gmt":"2020-12-11T11:26:29","slug":"umaze","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.umaze.org\/?p=84","title":{"rendered":"CREATE a MAZE with umaze"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Creating mazes with <strong>umaze<\/strong> is simple. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You have two options: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>(1) Create a new maze or <\/li><li>(2) Modify an existing maze<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">CREATE A NEW MAZE<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>After you have downloaded <strong>umaze<\/strong> app <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Click on &#8220;create maze&#8221;.<\/li><li>Specify that you are building a new maze.<\/li><li>Give a name to your maze. <\/li><li>Define the perimeter where your maze will be located, by specifying at least 4 corners.  (<em>ideally walk outside; then you know where the maze is located<\/em>) <\/li><li>Indicate all the obstacles that might be present inside the area of the maze. The categories we have are: trees, bushes, stones, water and human made. <\/li><li>Specify the number of entrances to the maze. <\/li><li>Next you have to define the level of difficulty of the maze (medium and hard levels should be used only with Galileo-enabled phones) <\/li><li>Save the maze and it is ready to be played. <\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>The following video shows the 8 steps we just listed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure><iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/MCVvrQh6mFY\" allowfullscreen=\"\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\"><\/iframe><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">MODIFY AN EXISTING MAZE<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You might want to modify an existing maze for different reasons, for example, change level of difficulty, or change the location of the entrances, or just have a new challenge.
