In August, we were informed that umaze was in the finals! The news were BIG, not only an email in our inbox, but also present in different news channels.

Then, if we thought we were busy earlier, we had no idea how intense the work will be during this period. We needed to submit by October 21st the Android and iOS versions of the App.

The goal is that by Nov 6th, umaze should be available in the google and apple stores. For one developer this was a massive work load, and we are very proud of our developer. Additionally during this period we had our second online survey and some field studies at a game expo.

We had 3 mentors during this process: Fabrice TESTA, Piotr BUCKI and Maaike DOKTER. The three of them OUTSTANDING MENTORS! (side note: they did not pay us to say this 🙂 )

After big amounts of sisu the very first version of umaze is available. Now the journey of umaze will begin.

During these months we have unveiled the surface of humans’ passion on mazes. This is an ancient challenge that fascinates us. We learned of the power of team-work.

Thus to bring alive this ancient challenge of mazes in the modern way we need to collaborate with all of you, who are interested to bring this amazing challenge to your fingertips. We want to hear from you, and continue co-creating this tool that would be an anchor to learn much more about a human passion.
